US president Donald Trump has committed yet another major gaff today after it emerged he has advised the continent of Africa that it would be ‘Better for them’ to leave the European Union.

Whilst commenting on the upcoming Brexit talks Trump said, “I think Britain will do well without the EU and that goes for all other members of the European Union too. Including Africa and those parts of Asia.”

His remarks, which were made on Twitter, have left him open to ridicule after other users of the website pointed out his astounding lack of geopolitical knowledge.

One user wrote in disbelief, “OK jokes over guys, where’s the real President at?.”

While others, who we can only assume are stereotypical Trump supporters, agreed with him.

“The president is absolutely correct.”, said another user, “I think what he meant was, there are so many Africans in Europe that it may aswell be Africa.”

After a barrage of tweets questioning his lack of brain cells, Trump was uncharacteristically silent on the issue.

We contacted the White House who refused to comment on the presidents Twitter account, but did tell us he was ‘Very busy’ finger painting and playing hide and seek with the pet White House drone.
